Based in Tamale, Northern Ghana - The Tungteiya Women’s Association is home to over 650 shea butter producers and 11,000 shea nut pickers. The shea producers use traditional methods, passed down through generations, to make the finest shea butter products. Unlike other industries in Ghana, the money they make is their own, helping provide for their families futures.
